I'm Back!

Hey girls,

Yes, I survived 112 degrees in Phoenix with broken air conditioning in the hotel, (hopefully I sweated off some weight!) but I almost didn't survive the plane ride back since Newark airport was closed to incoming flights due to weather conditions and they put us into a holding pattern for an hour and a half.

During that time, the pilot informed us that we were running out of fuel and would have to try to divert to Philadelphia. We tried but it was decided that we weren't going to make it, so Newark let us land before we crashed. How nice of them. And how was your week? LOL

Anyway, I will hopefully try to get another chapter of "Remember Me" posted soon...maybe tomorrow if you're good! LOL

My company had us on America West which was ok except for the almost running out of fuel part! LOL

My co-worker was with me and she absolutely hates to fly, so any turbulence or noises freaked her out so bad that I had to spend a large part of both flights trying to calm her down. She especially freaked when she found out that we were running out of fuel and it took a while to get her over it. No wonder I'm tired! LOL

Hi Pat, so good to have you back! The flight sounds scary (as does the heat LOL), and I'm glad you made it back safe and sound. I know we'll ALL be good, 'cause we all want another chapter of that wonderful story!!

(hoping no one asks when another chapter of mine will be forthcoming... *ahem*)

I should rephrase it...we had weak air conditioning some of the time, just not all of it. Sitting in conferences with 200 people for a few days can make it a bit steamy!

I have no idea what was wrong...we were flying through some storm clouds but there was no rain or lightning. There were a lot of blue skies up there so I have no clue what happened. I guess it really doesn't matter now since I didn't make the 11:00 news (Thank God)! LOL
